About Us
Kids That Give Back, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, offering youth and families opportunities to give back to the DC-area through our wide range of philanthropy activities. We understand the true power that our youth hold, and we have made it our mission to transform them into natural born servant-leaders, ready to take on the world.

Kids That Give Back is dedicated to serving kids and families in need in the DC, MD, VA area. With the help of generous donors, we have provided toys to kids in hospitals, books to homeless kids, and food and toiletry items to homeless families. Apply for our SY 2024-25 Scholarship
Are you a graduating high school senior that resides in DC, Maryland or Virginia? Are you attending an Historically Black College or University in fall 2024? Have you made a meaningful contribution to your community -- helping others in need? Apply for the Kids That Give Back Scholarship. Applications are due May 1, 2024.

Little Library Boxes
In 2023, Kids That Give Back will continue to support Little Library Boxes throughout the DMV area. We want children to have as many opportunities as possible to read books that will inspire and foster a love for reading.
Volunteering
Serving the Neediest
We love volunteersl With the help of volunteers, Kids That Give Back has prepared and delivered food and toiletry packages to homeless families in DC during the holiday season. We've collected books and filled Little Library Boxes with them. We've picked up litter in DC neighborhoods and packaged toys for kids. Want to help? Check out our upcoming events.
Toy Fundraising Drive
Serving kids in area hospitals
Every child wants a special gift on Christmas. Since 2016, Kids That Give Back has raised funds to buy toys for kids in Children's Hospital and Hospital for Sick Children in Washington, DC. Making Christmas just a little brighter for kids in hospitals is dear to our hearts, as our founder spent a significant part of her early years in the hospital. Over the past seven years, Kids That Give Back has purchased and delivered over 1500 toys to children in the hospital.
